A private Pilates instructor can assist you and your injury more individually than if you were to attend a public class. The outcome could improve how you perform in your sport and other activities.

By working one-on-one with the instructor and receiving more detailed instruction than you would in a group class, you will be able to progress at a quicker rate into the advanced exercises. You may even be able to lose weight faster with private Pilates.

Pilates for Beginners, Athletes, and Injury Recovery
The Pilates Reformer is a traditional piece of equipment that looks unusual at first—a bed-like frame with springs, a sliding carriage, ropes, and pulleys—but it’s incredibly effective.
Unlike mat Pilates, the Reformer adds resistance and variety, making classes more dynamic and challenging. The unique design also allows you to move in different planes of motion, relieving axial load and offering the benefits of safe spinal traction.
Whether you’re building strength, improving flexibility, or recovering from injury, Group Reformer classes give you a full-body workout that balances intensity with mindful precision.
Private Sessions
With Private Reformer Pilates, the focus is entirely on you. These one-on-one sessions are tailored to your body, your movement history, and your personal goals. Whether you're recovering from an injury, just starting, or looking to elevate your practice, this is your time to move with intention.
Your certified instructor will guide you through targeted exercises on the Reformer to improve strength, mobility, alignment, and control. Each session is customized to help you move better, feel stronger, and build lasting results that support your everyday life.
Private sessions are ideal if you need extra support, are returning to movement after a period of inactivity, or want to focus on a specific performance or postural goal. You’ll benefit from expert attention, a personalized plan, and the confidence to progress safely and effectively.
Semi-Private Sessions
Semi-Private Reformer Pilates offers the perfect balance between personalized instruction and shared motivation. Designed for two participants, these sessions are ideal for friends or family members who want to train together while still receiving tailored coaching and hands-on feedback. Since we don’t match participants, you’ll need to bring your own Pilates partner.
Each session is customized to the pair’s collective needs, with individualized variations based on your experience, mobility, and goals. Using the Reformer, your instructor will guide you through a series of dynamic exercises that challenge strength, flexibility, and control, while keeping the experience engaging and effective for everyone in the group.
Semi-privates are a great option if you enjoy working out with a partner but still want expert guidance and progressive training. However, if you have injuries or health concerns, we recommend starting with a Private Session for your safety and best results.

PENNY BOYLE
Head Instructor
Penny brings over 8 years of experience as a registered physiotherapist to her Pilates teaching. A passionate runner who has completed 13 marathons—including Boston—she understands firsthand the importance of core strength for efficient movement. Certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates since 2018, Penny emphasizes proper technique, alignment, and controlled movement to maximize results. Her mission is to help clients build the strength and resilience they can carry into sports, daily life, and long-term wellness. When she’s not teaching or running, Penny enjoys skiing, tennis, yoga, hiking, and exploring holistic approaches to healthy living.

JENNIFER CAMMISANO
Instructor
Jennifer has been passionate about fitness since her first step aerobics class as a teenager at the YMCA. A lifelong “gym rat,” she has explored everything from CrossFit to Hyrox racing, always seeking new ways to challenge herself. After experiencing injuries, Jennifer rediscovered Pilates and fell in love with its restorative yet strengthening approach. She is now a Polestar Certified Reformer and Mat Pilates Instructor as well as a Personal Trainer. Jennifer’s goal is to help clients build strength, resilience, and confidence through mindful, effective movement.

ESTHER KAY
Instructor
Esther comes to us as a STOTT PILATES®–trained instructor whose personal journey through ACL recovery after a ski accident shaped her approach to movement. She places strong emphasis on breath, alignment, and the fundamentals of proper form to help clients move safely and effectively. With a passion for yoga, hiking, writing and outdoor adventures, Esther brings both technical expertise and genuine enthusiasm for active living to every class.
